Kevin Blum completed his first season with the Hawai‘i swimming and diving program after joining head coach Michael Stephens' initial staff in the summer of 2022.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Over two decades of coaching experience in the United States and in Australia.
  • Helped lead the Rainbow Wahine to an MPSF title in his first year with the program in 2022-23. 
  • Guided the UH women to six program records (50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay) and the UH men to a pair of relay records (400 free relay, 800 free relay).
  • Named to the coaching staff for USA at the 2013 World University Games.
  • Awarded the Victorian Open Water Coach of the Year in 2015 (Australia).
  • Coached Silver medalists at the 2010 Junior Pan-Pacs, as well as the 2011 and 2013 World University Games.
  • Five-time USA National and National Junior team personal coach.
  • Awarded the American Swim Coaches (ASCA) Award of Excellence for three straight years (2010, 2011, 2012).
  • Coached athletes to the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Trials, and to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
  • Competed collegiately at CSUN.
