Madeline Kennedy graduated from the University of Hawai'i with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and has returned to her alma mater to coach. Madeline goes by the name "Coach Maddy" or "Mad Dog." For the past couple years Maddy has played an important role in developing the women's team. She has great advice and really enjoys coaching. She travels with the team for a couple of women's trips each year. Maddy helps coach from the motor boat at practice and also hops into the FJ's to teach new crews or skippers hands on. Kennedy sailed for UH from 2010-15. While at UH, she was a very successful skipper for the women's team and also served as team captain. Prior to UH, she won state championships in sailing in 2009
and was team captain of the sailing team in 2009-10 at her home yacht club in Minneapolis, MN.
