Prior To UH: Attended Vincennes University in Indiana for two years...a two-year team captain...a 14-time NJCAA All-American...team MVP in 2006-07...coached by Josh Saylor and Victor Moore...a member of the Dean's List...belonged to the Biology Club.

Prep: A 2004 graduate of Robert S. Alexander High School in Douglasville, Ga...lettered in soccer and cross country...finished in the top seven in cross country his junior and senior seasons...was the president of the Beta Club.

Personal: Born in Houston, Texas...plans to major in exercise science/business...has one younger brother and one younger sister...parents are Diane and Al Gardner of Winston, Ga.
