We are seeking highly motivated UH students to fill the role of Ching Complex Events Staff and Maintenance Crew as we prepare to open the 2021 Rainbow Warrior football season at the newly renovated Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex on lower campus. This is an outstanding opportunity for UH students with outgoing, friendly personalities who enjoy interacting with other people to be a part of our UH Athletics 'Ohana.

Ching Complex Events Staff

Qualification Requirements

  • Available to work evenings, weekends, select holidays (including Christmas Eve), summer, winter and spring breaks

Narrative of Duties

  • Working athletic and special events held at the Ching Complex
  • Greeting spectators, ticket taking and ushering people to seats. 
  • Maintain crowd control
  • Reporting spillages and assisting in mopping and cleaning
Minimum commitment for all six UH Home Football games.

Ching Complex Maintenance Crew

Qualification Requirements

  • Available to work evenings, weekends, selected holidays, summer break, winter break and spring break
  • Must be able to lift heavy loads (~50 lbs.)

Narrative of Duties

  • To provide maintenance to the Ching Complex, the Ching Field and Track and Ching Sand Courts. Maintenance includes sweeping, mopping, hauling trash, power washing, weeding and mowing among other daily tasks. 
  • Duties also include setting up and cleaning up of athletic competitions and special events.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum commitment for all six UH Home Football games.
