2020-21 HAWAI‘I MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING

SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

• Scored a combined 750.50 points at the MPSF Championships, placing second overall.

• The ‘Bows captured 6 first place finishes at the MPSF Championships, including the 800 free relay.

• A total of 11 ‘Bows were named to the conference first team, racking up 17 awards between the 11 and 46 honors among the team with the addition of the second team.

• Junior diver Max Burman was named the MPSF Diver of the Year, and in doing so became the first ever student-athlete to be named Freshman of the Year and later in their career being named Diver of the Year in the MPSF.

• Wils repeated as the NCAA Zone E 3-meter champion with a score of 621.70, catapulting herself from the No. 5 position of the prelims to the gold spot medal spot. She also finished in second place in the 1-meter dive.

• Head diving coach Mike Brown and assistant diving coach Anita Rossing were named Co-Diving Coaches of the Year in the MPSF for the fifth time in their careers. 

• For the seventh consecutive year, the men’s dive team was represented on the national stage as both Burman and freshman Zach Lundgren qualified for the NCAA Championships.

DIVING DOMINANCE

At least one UH male student-athlete has advanced to the NCAAs in each of the last seven years with a pair of divers in Max Burnan and Zach Lundgren keeping the streak going.
