On July 29, 2020, The Big West Conference Board of Directors announced that Big West fall sports competition will be postponed through the end of the calendar year. In making the decision, the Board recognized the continued serious challenges to health and safety on Big West campuses and communities impacted by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
A decision on whether fall sports competition will be feasible in the spring will be determined by the Board of Directors at a later date and be based on conditions and circumstances that are in the best interests of the student-athletes.
"While we are heartbroken for our student-athletes, coaches, and fans we fully support this decision," Athletics Director David Matlin said. "This is an extremely challenging time. However, by showing aloha and support for each other, I am confident that we will get through this together."

2020 Women’s Volleyball Season Ticket Holder Options
Options cover all season tickets, seat premiums, and parking paid to date. Please select from the following:
- Receive a credit towards the fall 2021 women’s volleyball season. Any payments made to date will be credited towards the fall 2021 women’s volleyball season.
- Donate your payment to H-Club. For those who are able, we humbly ask that you consider converting your payments to an H-Club contribution. Contributions will be credited towards 2020-2021 H-Club membership and are tax deductible, less the value of benefits earned. - Full refund. You will be refunded the full amount paid to date. If you paid by credit card, we will credit your card automatically within 2 weeks of the deadline. For tickets paid with cash or check, a refund check will be mailed to the account holder and address on file in 6-8 weeks from the deadline.
Please make a selection by Thursday, August 20, 2020. If no selection is made by this date, you will automatically receive credit towards the fall 2021 women’s volleyball season.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Will I get my same seats next season (fall 2021)?
- Yes, all season ticket holders will retain the same seats regardless of whether payments were made for the 2020 season or if a refund/credit option is selected.
- If the season is delayed to spring 2021, will my credit apply to the spring season?
- No. Due to the uncertainty over what the season and schedule may look like, credits will only be applied to the fall 2021 women’s volleyball season.
- Ticket options for a possible spring season will be addressed at a later date.
- Can I receive a refund or credit for my 2020-2021 H-Club membership contribution?
- Due to the complex nature of H-Club impacting multiple sports, separate communication is forthcoming regarding 2020-2021 H-Club membership contributions. Similar refund and credit options will be offered.
