UH dropped back-to-back homecoming games for the first time since losing five straight for 1994 to ’98.
UH dropped to 37-26-1 all-time in Homecoming games since 1949.
CSU leads the overall series, 13-9 and has won eight of the last nine in the series dating back to 1987.
The last time UH started a season 0-7 was during the winless campaign of 1998 (0-12).
The seven-game losing streak is tied for the third longest in school history.
UH is one of five remaining winless teams in the FBS this season.

Senior wide receiver Billy Ray Stutzmann extended his streak to 27 straight games with a reception following his 27-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. Stutzmann has scored in each of the last four games.
Sean Schroeder had his fourth straight 300-yard game. Schroeder finished 28-for-49 with a career-high 349 yards and two touchdowns and one interception. Schroeder also scored on a 2-yd run in the 4
th quarter, his second career rushing TD (also at Colorado State last year).
Junior quarterback Taylor Graham made his first appearance since UH’s road game at Nevada on Sept. 21. Graham was intercepted by Kevin Pierre-Louis on his first throw in the third quarter and finished 3-of-7 for 37 yards with a long of 28.
UH trailed at the half for the sixth time in seven games this year.
Scott Harding set a new career-long with a 62-yard punt in the third quarter, eclipsing his previous high of 61 yards at Oregon State earlier this year.
Chris Gant scored for the third straight game with a 38-yard reception in the first quarter and finished with a career high eight catches for 159 yards. The senior wide receiver has five touchdowns and has had more than 100 yards receiving in three of the last four games.
Charles Clay record his first forced fumble of the season and fourth of his career in the first quarter.
Freshman defensive back Trayvon Henderson recorded an interception for the third straight game with 2
nd quarter pick of Garrett Grayson.
Donn Alexander’s 70-yard run in the first quarter was the longest play from scrimmage UH has surrendered this year.
UH gave up a defensive touchdown for the fourth time this season when Max Morgan returned a UH fumble 73 yards for a score in the first quarter.
Freshman Diocemy Saint Juste returned his first career kickoff 78 yards in the first quarter. The freshman finished with four returns for 161 yards and a 32.2-yard return average.
Junior Marcus Malepeai made his first career start at defensive tackle.
Kody Afusia and Beau Yap served as team captains during the coin toss. Former Rainbow Warrior defensive lineman and first-team All-American Al Noga served as honorary captain.
