“Realistically I thought we played pretty well tonight. We played good defense, but offensively we have struggled all year. Playing a team like Idaho is difficult because they make so few errors.”
“I think it was a difference of a few points, calls, in the first game. I think in the first two games we were in it the whole way. Unfortunately we get into a few rotations where we have trouble getting a side-out.”
“We have some good young players where this spring should make a big difference. We just need to get some work in and look towards next season.”
Idaho head coach Debbie Buchanan
“I thought we served them well. The last three times we have faced them, I think this was the best we have played them all year. Defensively that has been one of our strong suits and I thought we were able to dig some balls and get some side-outs.”
“We have those older kids that have the leadership and these kids have some goals. We have been playing better and gotten better the last few weeks of the season. Our blocking has gotten better and defensively we have gotten better. We are now winning some of those points we weren’t winning early in the here.”
“We have to do what we do well. We have to pass well, block and play defense and bring the offensive game I think it should be a good match tomorrow.”
“I think we have to win to get into the NCAA Tournament. But you never know. Our best shot is to win this to make it. That’s the players’ goal. We have to battle, we are the underdogs. We have to have everyone playing to their potential.”
