Biography

2011-12 (Senior): Earned a new personal best in the 100 freestyle with a time of 56.26 at the WAC Championships (Feb. 22)…also earned season-bests in the 500 freestyle (5:20.57), 200 butterfly (2:12.47) and 400 IM (4:45.30)…swam in the Arena Invitational (Nov. 17) and in dual-meets against Minnesota (Dec. 31) and Wisconsin (Jan. 14).

2010-11 (Junior): Finished 23rd in 200 fly (2:12.98) at the Western Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 23-26)…earned two personal bests at the Arena Invitational (Nov. 18-20) in the 500 freestyle (5:13.75) and 200 butterfly (2:09.35)…also earned a personal best after taking third in the 1650 freestyle (18:01.98) against UC San Diego (Jan. 28).

2009-10 (Sophomore): Finished fourth in the 1000 freestyle (10:55.24) against Loyola Marymount (Jan. 15)…placed sixth in the 1650 free (18:18.41) against Wisconsin (Jan. 9).

2008-09 (Freshman): Finished 26th in the 1650 Free (18:53.87) and 22nd in the 400 IM (4:53.28) swims at the WAC Championship (Feb. 25-28).

Prep: A 2008 graduate of San Clemente High School in San Clemente, Calif.…lettered four years in swimming…earned MVP in 2007 and 2008…was a scholar-athlete all four years…a member of Irvine NovAquatics for 13 years and swam for the sectional championship team there…swam in the Open Water Alcatraz Sharkfest and placed first in 2007 and 2008 and second in 2006…also placed first in the Duke Kahanumoku Ocean Fest.
 
Personal: Born in San Clemente, Calif.…plans on majoring in nursing…mother is Jennifer Boring of San Clemente, Calif.
