HONOLULU — Four members of the University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team on Tuesday in recognition of their performances on the court and in the classroom.

Bri Gunderson and sophomores
Adrianna Arquette,
Victoria Leyva and
Miliana Sylvester represented the Rainbow Wahine on the NCAA Division I list.
The academic qualification for the Academic All-District teams is a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average. Nominated student-athletes must have participated in at least 90% of the season's matches or started in 66% of the matches.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Jan. 13.
Adrianna Arquette | Sophomore | Setter
- Majoring in Business.
- Started all 29 matches and played in all 105 sets.
- Named All-Big West Honorable Mention.
- Averaged 8.67 assists per set and recorded 10 double-doubles and two triple-doubles.
- Ranked second on the team with 263 digs (2.50 per set) and third with 23 aces.
Bri Gunderson | Senior | Middle Blocker
- Majoring in Communications.
- Named All-Big West Second Team.
- Played in 28 matches with 25 starts
- Led the team with 115 total blocks and 1.16 blocks per set.
- Posted a team-high .300 hitting percentage and finished second on the team with 234 kills and 2.36 kills per set.
Victoria Leyva | Sophomore | Libero
- Majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology
- Started all 29 matches and played in all 105 sets.
- Named All-Big West Honorable Mention.
- Led the team with 435 digs and 4.14 digs per set, the fourth highest average in program history.
- Finished second on the team with 26 service aces.
Miliana Sylvester | Sophomore | Middle Blocker
- Majoring in Public Health.
- Started all 29 matches and played in 104 sets.
- Named All-Big West Honorable Mention.
- Finished second on the team with 95 total blocks and 0.91 per set.
- Ranked third on the team with 201 kills while hitting .288.
