  • Junior Alyssa Mae Antolin broke two UH records, including the 60m dash at 7.57 and the 200m dash at 23.90. Both records were broken at MPSF Championships on February 17th at The Podium in Pullman, Wash.

  • UH finished the indoor season by placing fourth in the MPSF Championships with 64 points. Sophomore Lilian Turban and Antolin took home their first career conference championships as Turban won the high jump putting her at No. 2 all-time at UH with a height of 1.82m (5’11.5). Antolin captured the title in the 200m dash.

  • Antolin joined junior Amy Warrington, sophomore Sammie Gordon, and freshman Izzy Peterson to break the UH record in the 4 x 400m relay at the conference championships. The foursome recorded a time of 3:47.93, placing third overall.

Outdoor Season

  • Three all-time records were broken in 2023 as Antolin holds the 200m record in both indoor and outdoor, while senior Sophia Morgan sits atop both the two-mile run and the 3000m steeplechase. Antolin broke the 200m record on April 15 as a part of the Bryan Clay Invitational with a time of 23:38, taking down a nearly 40-year record by Gwen Loud in 1984. Morgan finished at 10:58.61 in the two-mile run at the Stanford Invitational on April 1st, and later in the month, on the 13th, she tallied a time of 10:53.67 as a part of the Mt. Sac Relays for the 3000m steeplechase crown.

  • Sophomore Lilian Turban recorded a phenomenal run during the 2023 season as she won seven consecutive high jump events throughout the season.

  • At the NCAA Championships, Turban became only the sixth Rainbow Wahine in program history to be named All-America after placing fourth overall, clearing the bar at 1.87m (6’1.5) for a new career-high and second all-time in the UH record book.

  • Three student-athletes qualified for the NCAA Championship First Round as Turban and junior Halle Mohr returned after their first career appearances in 2022, while Antolin made her first career appearance. All three performers turned in strong showings as Antolin placed at No. 28 overall in the 200m on the first day, followed by Mohr finishing five spots higher than the year before at No. 27 in the discus throw, and Turban placing at third overall in the high jump.

  • UH placed third overall in the Big West Outdoor Championships, totaling 102 points and claimed four individual titles, including Antolin in the 200m, Turban in the high jump, junior Montserrat Montanes I Arbo in the hammer throw, and freshman Tara Wyllie in the triple jump.
