HONOLULU – Several University of Hawai'i head coaches came together to produce a public service announcement reminding the public about precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to show aloha during these difficult times.
Head coaches
Mike Trapasso (baseball),
Charlie Wade (men's volleyball),
Michele Nagamine (women's soccer), and
Bob Coolen (softball) encourages proper hygiene techniques, practicing social distancing, and to follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and health care providers.
"Take care of yourself, take care of your family, and remember we're all in this together," Coolen said.
In addition, head football coach
Todd Graham produced a similar message on behalf of the Rainbow Warrior football program.
"Our spring practice has been cancelled but we know right now the priority is the safety, health and well-being of everyone," Graham said. "We will be ready this fall and this too shall end and we shall prevail victorious as we always do. We encourage you to be safe and healthy and take care of each other."
