HONOLULU—The H-Zone, the official University of Hawai'i souvenir brand for Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wahine apparel and merchandise, will now be operated by the UH Bookstores.
 
Fans will be able to purchase UH merchandise at all nine UH Bookstore locations:  UH Manoa, UH Hilo, UH Maui College, UH West O'ahu and Leeward, Kapi'olani, Honolulu, Kaua'i and Windward Community Colleges. H-Zone merchandise will also be available for purchase online (www.H-ZoneOnline.com) and customers will have the option to pick up merchandise purchased online at O'ahu bookstore locations.  
 
"The new partnership between athletics and the UH Bookstores is an exciting one, and we look forward to the synergies it will bring for the University of Hawai'i as a whole," said Tricia Ejima, bookstore director.
 
"We are pleased to be partnering with the Bookstore and offering our fans the convenience of additional locations where they can purchase merchandise in support of their favorite teams and UH Athletics," said Joel Matsunaga, Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs.
 
The H-Zone retail store at the Ward Village Shops in Kaka'ako will close effective May 31. Customers are encouraged to take advantage of discounts on any remaining merchandise until supplies run out. H-Zone is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
 
Committed to the mission of serving as a resource center for the UH community, the UH Bookstores offer a wide variety of quality products and services at competitive prices. 
 
The UH Bookstores will also manage the H-Zone retail locations at the Stan Sheriff Center (UH home games), Les Murakami Stadium (kiosk at second floor concourse at UH home games) and H-Zone ecommerce.
 
All UH Bookstore proceeds support the University of Hawai'i.
