ESPN Regional Television (ERT), a subsidiary of ESPN, will begin ticket sales for the 2011 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic on Friday, Oct. 14 at 9:00 a.m. HST. The eight-team tournament will be held December 22, 23 & 25 at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
Fans can purchase individual game tickets or all-session packages online at
www.eTicketHawaii.com and print them on their home computer. They can also visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office and Aloha Stadium Box Office (Monday- Friday, 9a.m. until 5p.m.) or call 944-2697 during the same hours. Additional outlets include the University of Hawai'i at Manoa Campus Center and Rainbowtique stores in downtown Honolulu and Ward Centre.
The tournament includes six teams that advanced to the postseason last year. Host Hawai'i will face Auburn in a first-round game Thursday, Dec. 22. In other first-round action, UTEP will take on Clemson; Kansas State will face Southern Illinois; and Long Beach State will meet Xavier.
