HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i women's track and field team opened the 2007 outdoor season by hosting the Sunrise Meet at Cooke Field on Saturday. The meet was the first of three all-comers meets that UH will host during the outdoor season.
The Sunrise Meet serves as a training ground for UH athletes for mainland collegiate competition. It also is the first time these athletes will compete in outdoor events.
