HONOLULU - Four hundred and eighty nine (489) of the 1,000 Allstate Sugar Bowl tickets made available exclusively to University of Hawai`i football season-ticket holders Tuesday, Dec. 18, have been reserved for purchase.

UH began taking requests (maximum of six) by phone from season-ticket holders who had not yet had the chance to purchase Allstate Sugar Bowl tickets Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. and continued until the ticket office closed at 4:00 p.m.

The ticket office will return calls on Wednesday, Dec. 19, to finalize ticket purchases.

"I'm glad we were able to accommodate all of the football season-ticket holders who were interested in Sugar Bowl tickets," Herman Frazier, UH athletics director, said. "This has been a tiring process but our season-ticket holders are important to us, so we wanted to make every effort on their behalf."

On Thursday, Dec. 20, the remaining Allstate Sugar Bowl tickets will be made available to season-ticket holders in need of additional tickets (maximum of six) at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office or by phone (956-4482, 4483, or 4484).

Seat locations will vary and may not be in the same section as the season-ticket holder's original ticket order. Requests for seat exchanges can not be accommodated.
