Hee's Inside-The-Park Homer Leads 'Bows To 13-1 Win Over Alumni

HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i Rainbow baseball team defeated the UH alumni team 13-1 at the Les Murakami Stadium Saturday. Ian Harrington pitched 6.0 innings in relief, giving up no runs, four hits and no walks while striking out four to get the win. 2006 Rainbow Justin Costi took the loss for the alumni.

Jonathan Hee led the way for Hawai`i, going 1-for-4 with a home run and four RBI. Brandon Haislett added a 2-for-4 day with one RBI and two runs. Ryan Asato went 2-for-3 with two runs and a double while Nathan Young and Matthew Roquemore also had two-hit games.

Esteban Lopez led the way for the alumni, providing a RBI-double.

The Rainbows will officially open their season on Friday, Jan. 26, against Santa Clara at the Les Murakami Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
