HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i women's track and field squad held its second Sunrise meets this morning at the UH campus' Cooke Field.

The All-Comers Meet saw Dana Buchanan fare well in the Mile Run (5:20.41), while Ashley Monfort again posted the best time in the 200m Hurdles (28.61).

Other UH athletes that had solid performances were Nicole Wright, Candace Rosenthal, and Ku`ulei Karratti in the 60m dash.

Monfort and Jennifer Ciochetti sported good times in the 300m dash with 41.81 and 44.56, respectively.

Elizabeth Jacobsen and Kelsey Smith had strong showings in the javelin with tosses of 40.41m and 39.77m, respectively.

UH heads to the mainland next week for its second indoor meet of the spring -- the Holiday Inn Team Invitational -- held at Boise State where the Western Athletic Conference Championships will be at the end of the month.
