Hawai`i (11-4-2, 4-2 WAC) rounds out conference play in California with WAC matches this weekend versus Fresno State (4-7-3, 1-2-2 WAC) and San Jose State (4-9-1, 2-2-1 WAC). The Rainbow Wahine look to secure a spot in the WAC Tournament hosted by Hawai`i, Nov. 4-6.
UH will face the Bulldogs on Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. PDT and the Spartans on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. PDT. The game time for the San Jose State match was moved back due to the MLS playoffs. The Rainbow Wahine will also play a non-conference match at San Francisco on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. PDT.
News & Notes: The Rainbow Wahine moved up two spots to No. 13 in the latest Soccer Buzz West Region Rankings (Oct. 18)...the Rainbow Wahine have appeared in the rankings for seven straight weeks...UH also received votes in the latest NSCAA/adidas West Region Rankings (Oct. 19)...Hawaii's injury woes continued this weekend...the Rainbow Wahine, already without goalkeeper Mahie Atay and striker Krisha Kai, lost freshman midfielder Gabrielle Bohlman for the season after a collision with Boise State goalkeeper Kim Parker during Sunday's 1-0 UH win...Bohlman is leading conference play in assists (3), including a pair on Friday to spark a 3-2 overtime win over Nevada...she is the team's second leading scorer with three goals and four assists during the season...the win over the Wolf Pack snapped a two-game losing streak for the Rainbow Wahine who have not lost three in a row since the 2002 season...the Rainbow Wahine had a season-high 29 shots vs. Nevada...UH's 1-0 win over Boise State on Senior Night was witnessed by 2,151 fans, the second largest crowd in school history...Hawaii leads conference play in shots (103) and assists (11) and is second in points (31) and goals (10)...Natasha Kai leads WAC play in shots (39) and points (12), co-leads in goals (5) and is in a tie for second in assists (2)...UH posted its seventh shutout of the year with a 1-0 win over Boise State...senior goalkeeper Erin Chow has stepped in for an injured Mahie Atay and has a WAC-leading three shutouts.

About Fresno State: Fresno State enters this week with a 1-2-2 WAC mark...the Bulldogs were shutout, 2-0, at San Jose State in its last match on Sunday...sophomore forward Cortney Sobrero tied a career-high with seven shots in the loss...she leads the squad with 10 goals and has two hat tricks, inlcuding one in a 5-1 win over Nevada.
About San Jose State: SJSU started WAC play with two home losses but are undefeated in its last three conference matches (2-0-1)...the Spartans blanked Fresno State, 2-0, in their last match...Nicole Irwin leads the squad with four goals and an assists...the Spartans play at UC Davis on Friday before playing UH on Sunday.
About San Francisco: USF dropped to 7-5-3 and 1-2 in the WCC with a 1-0 loss to #15 Santa Clara on Sunday...the Dons were undefeated in five matches, before losing its last two...USF will play a pair of conference matches at Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine before facing UH next Tuesday.
