HONOLULU - University of Hawai`i diver Maggie Roberts has qualified to represent Australia at the 22nd Universiade in Daegu, South Korea, in late August.

Roberts, a junior from Sandringham, Victoria, Australia, was honored as the Western Athletic Conference Diver of the Year the past two seasons.

The Summer Universiade in Daegu features 13 sports, 10 of which are compulsory (athletics, basketball, diving, fencing, football, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, volleyball, and water polo) and three optional (archery, judo, and taekwondo).
