HONOLULU - The Sunset Series Meet #9 went off last night and when it was all said and done, three new Cooke Field records had been established.

The other two records posted were by Lance Montigny of the University of Windsor (Canada) in the Coconut Toss (31.87m) and Heather Loree of the Windsor (Canada) Legion squad in the Heptathlon (4,734 points).

UH's Lana Phillips finished in third place overall in the two-day Heptathlon (4,004 pts.) while teammate Amanda Page came in sixth (3,728).

The UH track team embarks on a long road trip on Friday heading to California to compete in the Occidental College Invitational in Eagle Rock. Then the squad flies to El Paso, Texas, for the 2003 Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
