HOUSTON,Texas—The University of Hawaii men’s golf team fell back into seventh place at the WAC Championships after a disappointing second round score of 301. Junior James Beston kept up his solid scoring, putting together an even-par round of 72 that placed him tied for fifth. Junior Matt Kodama finished his round just outside the Top-10 in a tie for 12th with a 146 total. Senior Justin Kim suffered a major setback in his second round, carding a 78, which dropped him down to a tie for 21st.
Fresno State leaped in the opposite direction, after a second round 279 jumped them into the team lead over first round leader Tulsa. However, the Golden Hurricane’s David Inglis kept his individual lead with a three-under-par 69, which gave him a seven-under-par 137 two round total.
