HONOLULU - The final day of the Rainbow Relays took place this morning at Kaiser High School in Hawai`i Kai. The final three events were the discus, hammer, and javelin.
It was a limited field today in the three events.

The javelin was won by UHH's Hutchinsen with a throw of 34.91 meters, while UH's Amanda Page placed second (24.41m).
"I am very proud to have been able to resurrect the long lost Rainbow Relays," head coach Carmyn James said. "A total of 106 meet records were set ... never will that many be broken again in one competition," James added.
This was the largest meet held at Cooke Field in more than 20 years ... 473 competitors and 119 relay teams!
"It was a great combination of high school, collegiate, Open, and international athletes ... Jackie Joyner-Kersee's presence was a highlight
for many of the high school athletes," James said.
