TULSA, Okla. - On the day of its WAC Tournament quarterfinal game against San Jose State, more honors were given to Hawai'i head coach Riley Wallace and senior guard Predrag Savovic. Wallace was named the NABC District 13 Coach of the Year, while Savovic was selected to the Verizon Academic All-America third team.

Wallace, who is in his 15th season at Hawai'i, was named WAC coach of the year earlier this week, his third such honor of his career. Wallace now qualifies for national coach of the year honors later this season.

Savovic became the school's first Academic All-American. The International Business and Finance major was twice selected to the Verizon Academic All-District Team. Earlier this week, Savovic earned his second straight all-WAC first team honor after leading the team in scoring.
