UH Rainbow Wahine Knock Off Central Washington, Fall to Oregon State, Dartmouth, Cincinnati

HONOLULU- The University of Hawai`i women's swimming and diving team defeated Central Washington University tonight, 75-28, while falling to Darthmouth College, 61-51, Oregon State University, 69-35, and the University of Cincinnati, 64-40, at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex. The Rainbow Wahine stand at 3-9 in dual meets this season.

Yan Chen had a strong night, she got the scoring off for UH as she notched the top spot in the 200 Free, clocking in at 1:50.08. She then went on to finish first in the 200 IM (2:04.01) and took second in the 500 Free (4:55.26).

YingJuan Zhen scored with her top finish in the 100 Back (57.39).

Other strong showings from the Rainbow Wahine came in the 50 Free. Of the thirty-one swimmers who participated in the event, Michelle Vos took the fourth slot (25.10) and Stephanie Reguccera finished fifth (25.22).

Victorya Moreno was the sole UH diver in the diving events, which were held on Tuesday. Moreno scored 191.80 points in the 1-meter and 221.35 in the 3-meter.
