'Bows Tune-Up with EA Sports West All-Stars

Former UH star Mike McIntyre to face ex-mates

The University of Hawai`i men's basketball team will unveil its 2002-03 squad against the EA Sports West All-Stars, Sunday, at the Stan Sheriff Center. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m.

EA Sports All-Stars is a traveling squad made up of former college players. Honolulu is the team's 10th stop of a 13-game/21-day exhibition tour. EA Sports All-Stars have posted victories over Cal State Northridge (76-62) and Oregon State (85-76) within the past week.

Joining the EA Sports All-Stars for the game is former UH 3-point specialist Mike McIntyre. Last season McIntyre averaged a career-best 10.0 points per game, while finishing with the second highest single-season 3-point total in school history.

UH defeated the EA Sports All-Stars last season, 85-81 to open the season. The Rainbow Warriors officially begins its season with the Hawaiian Airlines Tip-Off Tournament, Nov. 22 & 24. Joining UH are Arkansas-Little Rock, Cal State Fullerton, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
