Jace Nakama joined the University of Hawai‘i Athletics Department in March 2024.
Nakama currently holds the position of Fiscal Specialist since 2024. In his role, Nakama is responsible for reviewing and approving travel requests and completions, collecting and preparing daily cash and check deposits, administering game contest contracts and payment of guarantees, and monitoring Adidas, Agron, JTB, HPD and conference payments.
Nakama previously worked at the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (Office of Research Services) from 2020-24.
The Mililani, O‘ahu native earned his degree in Accounting from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa in 2020. He then earned a Master’s in Accounting at UH in 2022.
