Biography

Prep: A 2016 graduate of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Calif….earned three varsity letters in indoor volleyball and four in beach volleyball…in indoor volleyball, helped to lead the Mustangs to co-league titles in 2015…named the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2015…earned all-league libero honors as a junior and senior and was named the league’s Libero of the Year in 2014 and '15…was named the 2015-16 Mira Costa Athlete of the Year…in beach volleyball was named all-CIF all four years…was named a MCHS Scholar-Athlete in her senior year.
 
Personal: Plans to major in business…born in Manhattan Beach, Calif….played nine seasons with the Mizuno Long Beach volleyball club...has one older sister…parents are Cheri Kaplan and Jimmy Smith of Manhattan Beach, Calif.
