Trevor Ichimura joined the Hawai‘i baseball staff prior to the start of the 2025 season after a six-year collegiate playing career, the last five of which came as a member of the Rainbow Warrior pitching staff.

PLAYING CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Upon graduation, joined the Hawai‘i coaching staff as a graduate assistant, helping with the pitchers in 2025.
  • Helped lead UH to its second consecutive 35-win season in 2025, the first time it has won 35-plus games in back-to-back years since 1991-92.
  • Spent five seasons as a member of the UH pitching staff from 2020-24 after playing true freshman season at Washington State in 2019.
  • Appeared in 29 career games - all of them out of the bullpen.
  • Pitched in 22 games throughout his three years with the Rainbow Warriors, striking out 24 and walking just nine over 39.0 innings.
  • Posted a 2.13 ERA in five relief appearances as a sophomore in 2022.
  • Worked 5.2 innings of scoreless relief in a 16-inning win over San Diego State on Feb. 28, 2022 - the longest game in UH history.
  • A 2021 Academic All-Big West honoree.
  • Appeared in seven games as a true freshman at Washington State in 2019 after earning all-state and All-ILH honors at Iolani School.
