TORONTO, Ont. – Former Rainbow Wahine All-American Monika Eggens and alumni Carmen Eggens represented Canada last week at the championship match of the 2015 Pan Am Women's Water Polo Games.
 
The Canadian women ultimately took home the silver medal after falling to the United States, 13-4 with Monika Eggens contributing half of the team's goals with two total. 
 
Canada went 3-1-1 last week, with victories over Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Cuba, with one tie against Brazil. Monika Eggens posted a total of nine goals in five matches, while sister Carmen Eggens contributed three for the Canadians.
