Biography

2009-2010 (Senior): Earned three personal bests at the Conference USA Championships (Feb. 24-27) placing fifth in the 100 breaststroke (55.50) and 200 breaststroke (2:02.96) and seventh in the 200 IM (1:51.95)…part of the team that took second in the 200 freestyle relay (1:26.38) at the Stanford Invitational (Oct. 10)…swam in dual-meet against Wisconsin (Jan. 9) placing second in the 200 breaststroke (2:07.08) and third in the 200 IM (1:55.72). 

2008-09 (Junior): Swam in the Husky Invitational (Dec. 5-7) and finished 27th in the 100 breaststroke (57.99).

Prior to UH: Attended Santa Monica College for three years… named most valuable player in 2006 for water polo in the Western State Conference…2005 student athlete honor list.
Prep: A 2005 graduate of El Camino High School in Woodland Hills, Calif.…holds school record in the 100 IM (59.42)…only swimmer in 2004-05 from team that went to City League in 100 Free, 100 Breast, 200 IM.
Personal: Born in Casablanca, Maroc…majoring in interdisciplinary studies…has one older brother and two younger sisters…parents are Taueb Al-Barazi and Suhair Al-barazi of Woodland Hills, Calif.
