HONOLULU – Season tickets for the 2016 University of Hawai'i men's volleyball season are on sale now. Packages for the 17-match home schedule includes the 22^nd annual Outrigger Resorts Invitational as well as six Mountain Pacific Sports Federation series with perennial powers UCLA, BYU, and UC Irvine. 
 
Tickets can be purchased online, at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm), or by calling 944-2697. Season ticket prices begin at $125 for adults and $40 for students. UH-Manoa students who pay the athletics fee receive admission with validated ID.
 
After UH regained the national attendance lead in 2015 with an experimental seating plan, the Athletics Department decided to reopen the Upper Bowl of the Stan Sheriff Center this season and fans may purchase seats in those sections.
 
The Rainbow Warriors return nine players from last season's squad, which advanced to the NCAA Championship tournament for the first time since 2002. UH finished runner-up in the highly-competitive MPSF with an 18-4 mark and posted 24 overall wins, its most since the 2003 campaign.
 
UH opens the 2016 season with the Outrigger Resorts Invitational which features national runner-up Lewis of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, Harvard of the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association and King (Ten.) University of Conference Carolinas.
 
Following the tournament, the Warriors will host two non-conference matches against Grand Canyon of the MIVA (Jan. 21-22) before beginning their conference slate, which includes two-match home series versus UC San Diego (Jan. 29 & 31), UCLA (Feb. 5-6), Long Beach State (Feb. 24 & 26), Brigham Young (March 2 & 4), UC Irvine (March 25-26), and California Baptist (April 8-9). UCI is the defending league champions while BYU, Long Beach State and UCLA also advanced to the MPSF Tournament.
