HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow baseball team (2-2), ranked No. 30, returns to action this weekend to host No. 7 Texas (3-1) in a three-game series. The Rainbows and Longhorns will play Friday at 6:35 p.m., Saturday at 3:05 p.m., and Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
The 'Bows split their season opening series with Oregon this past weekend. UH won the first two games by one run and lost the series finale 4-3. Zack Swasey currently leads the team in batting at .455, adding one run, two doubles, a triple, and three RBI. David Peterson is batting .444 followed by Kolten Wong at .347.
On the mound, Blair Walters posted two wins out of the bullpen and closer Lenny Linsky recorded a save in UH's season opening win. In his two appearances, he allowed no hits and just one baserunner.

First Hawaiian Bank is sponsoring Sunday's series finale and fans are reminded to register at the sports marketing table forchance to win great prizes. The team will be available for photos and autographs after Friday's game, as they will for all Friday home games. Fans can proceed to the field via the stairs located at the lower level of Section JJ on the first-base side of the field. The players will be available on the field for 30 minutes for "Autograph Friday". Fans are encouraged to bring items for the players to sign. Rainbowtique will be selling various UH logoed items at their merchandise stand in the upper concourse.
