Warriors Host Aggies With Home Win Streak On The Line

Game Notes

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Warrior football team will look to continue its seven-game Western Athletic Conference home win streak with a league game against Utah State, Saturday, Nov. 5. Kick-off is 6:00 p.m. at Aloha Stadium.

The Warriors (5-3, 3-1 WAC) are coming off a come-from-behind 16-14 victory at Idaho. Kenton Chun's 35-yard field goal with 32 seconds left proved to be the game-winner. Chun, a senior from Honolulu, also converted a 27-yarder in the second quarter and was named WAC Special Teams Player of the Week. Linebacker Aaron Brown, the WAC's Defensive Player of the Week, led the defense with nine tackles and an interception. His pick came near the goal line with UH trailing 14-13 late in the fourth quarter and helped ignite the Warriors comeback.

The Aggies (2-5, 0-2) enjoyed a bye week and have not played since a 24-17 home loss to Louisiana Tech, Oct. 22. All five of USU's losses have been decided by 10 points or less while the Aggies' two wins have been decided by 37 and 44 points, respectively.

UH leads the all-time series 6-5, including a 5-1 advantage in WAC play. The Warriors have scored 45 points or more in all five WAC wins against the Aggies, and has scored an average of 50.3 points per game in three wins at Aloha Stadium.
