2013 (Sophomore): Tallied a 12-11 overall record…went 5-4 in tournament play and 6-7 in dual matches… played five of ten matches at the No. 5 flight going 5-5…played all but two matches with partner Olivia Urban, recording an 11-10 record…one of three pairs to play in all 13 dual matches…went 2-1 with Urban in the Hawai’i Tournament…after a tight three-set loss in the opening round, racked up a pair of wins in the consolation rounds…. went 2-2 in the Antelope Desert Classic (March 24) with Urban, advancing to the consolation finals, before falling to consolation final to Loyola Marymount’s Ashley Maxfeldt and Annie Marie Taylor… advanced to semifinals of the USAV Collegiate Challenge (April 21) bronze division with Nikki Miyashita, after a quarterfinal win over Phelix Fincher and Maddy Klineman of UCLA.

Prior To UH: Played one season for Hawai‘i Pacific University in Honolulu…appeared in 15 matches as a true freshman…. finished with 32 kills, 14 digs and four service aces.
 
Prep: A 2011 graduate of Mead High School in Spokane, Wash…a four-year letterwinnner in volleyball…a two-time state champion…team captured district and regional championships all four of her seasons…twice named to the all-league first team…also earned all-state and team MVP accolades named to the 4A state all-tournament team…also played of the Sideout Volleyball Club..
 
Personal: Born in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i…nickname is Ku‘u…has three brothers and three sisters…is the fifth of seven children…younger sister Hannah is a member of the UH sand volleyball squad...parents are Leonard Zalopany of Honolulu, O'ahu and Lisa Zalopany of Spokane, Wash..
