Biography

2015-16 (Junior): Named second-team all-Big West...appeared in 30 games, making 29 starts...team’s second leading scorer (14.1) and third-leading rebounder (5.5)…ranked eighth in the Big West in scoring and 14th in rebounding…also averaged 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game…shot 47.1 percent from the field and 68.0 percent from the free throw line…tied for the second-most three-pointers on the team (43) and converted at a 32.3 percentage…ranked ninth in the league with 0.7 blocked shots per game…selected as the Big West Tournament Most Valuable Player after averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game in UH’s three wins...posted a double-double of 19 points and 10 boards in a semifinal win over UC Santa Barbara (March 11)…finished his career with 975 points, 18th best in program history…scored in double figures in 21 games...had five 20-point games...posted a triple-double vs. Howard (Jan. 2) with 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists, which included career-highs in rebounds and assists...season-high 33 points vs. UH-Hilo (Dec. 8), one off his career high...career-high 15 field goals made (15-of-20) in that game…converted 5-of-9 three-pointers and finished with 23 points versus UC Riverside (Feb. 25)…played in 39 minutes against UC Santa Barbara (March 11) in the Big West Tournament semifinals and versus Maryland (March 20) in the NCAA Tournament Second Round.
 
2014-15 (Sophomore): Started 33 games on the season, missing just two games due to injury...earned Big West Conference honorable mention honors...named to the Big West all-tournament team.anked 10th in the league in scoring, averaging 13.7 ppg...also ranked 11th in the Big West with 5.3 rebounds per game and was third in steals per game (1.7) and total steals (1.7)...shot .476 for the season and .360 in three pointers...posted double figures in points in all but 11 of his 33 games...dropped a career-high 34 points on 13-18 shooting and 5-7 from beyond the arc vs. CSUN (1/10) to go along with a career-high five steals...had a double-double (10 pts, 16 reb) vs. Marist (11/25) at the Gulf Coast Showcase...posted 15 points and nine rebounds the next night vs. East Carolina (11/26)...had 31 points against UH-Hilo (11/19) on 11-15 shooting...shot 11-15 from the floor for 28 points in UH's season-opening win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (11/14)...scored 24 points and pulled down seven rebounds vs. BYU (12/6)...had 20 points along with a career-high five steals vs. Cal Poly (1/7)...put up 21 points in a blowout win against eventual regular-season champion UC Davis (1/22)...had double figures in points in the final five games of the season including at 17-point, seven rebound performance where he shot 7-11 from the field and 3-4 from three-point land.

2013-14 (Freshman): One of just six players to appear in all 31 games...started first three games of the season in the place of an injured Brandon Spearman...averaged 5.7 ppg and 3.7 ppg while playing 22 minutes per game...came off the bench the remaining 28 contests...finished the year averaging 3.2 ppg and 2.0 rpg...shot 53 percent (41-of-78) from the floor...scored in 20 contests, including double-digit scoring in three...nine points, six rebounds, one block and two steals in collegiate debut vs. Tennessee State (Nov. 8)...scored a career-high 16 points and grabbed seven rebound in just 15 minutes of work vs. UH-Hilo (Nov. 21)...scored 10 points off the bench—all in the first half—in UH win over Saint Mary’s (Dec. 23)...seven points in 13 minutes vs. UC Riverside (Jan. 18)...played final eight minutes versus Cal Poly, scoring two points and grabbing five critical rebounds to secure home win over Mustangs (Feb. 8)...10 points and five rebounds off the bench at UC Santa Barbara (Mar. 6).

2012-13: Redshirted

Prep: A 2011 graduate of La Serna High School in Whittier, Calif…a multi-sport athlete, excelling in both basketball and water polo…a three-time all-league player in basketball, including first team honors as a junior and senior…averaged a double-double for three straight seasons…named league MVP and first-team all-area as a junior after averaging 18.7 ppg and 12.8 rpg…averaged 19.6 ppg and 13.6 rpg as a senior en route to first-team all-league honors…helped basketball win three straight Del Rio League championships…also a standout in water polo, earning All-America, league MVP and CIF player of the year honors in 2010..eanred league MVP, first-team all-area and CIF honors in 2009…helped team to three straight league championships..attended La Jolla Prep in 2011-12, averaging 19.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and three steals per game...teammate at La Jolla of Rainbow Warrior teammate Quincy Smith.
