2012-13 (Junior): Appeared in 27 games with 18 starts...one of the team’s most versatile players and one of its top defenders...missed five straight games late in the season due to injury...still finished second on the team in steals (29) and third in 3FG (30) and assists (38)...averaged 9.6 ppg, fifth-best on the team...shot 40% from the floor, 33% on three-pointers and 70% from the free throw line...scored 15 points against Houston Baptist (Nov. 12) in Rainbow Classic title game...season-high 20 points and nine rebounds while playing all but one minute in OT loss to Illinois (Nov. 16)...team-high 19 points, including a pair of key free throws down the stretch in win over North Dakota (Nov. 20)...came off the bench for the first time versus Chaminade (Dec. 15) and responded with 18 points and five rebounds in 31 minutes...15 points in come-from-behind win over Cal State Fullerton (Jan. 5)...12 points, five rebounds and two steals at UC Irvine (Jan. 9)...scored 13 of his 15 points in second half to help UH rally from 11 down in win at UC Riverside (Jan. 31)...16 points, five rebounds and three steals in win over Long Beach State (Feb. 7)...Honors: 2012 Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Rainbow Classic all-tournament.

Prior To UH: Attended Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, Iowa….team captain of a squad that was ranked No. 1 in the junior college ranks for much of the season…averaged 11.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals, while finishing second on the team in 3-pointers with 53…his 29 points against Ellsworth CC were the most scored by a Warrior in a game all season….named to the all-region second team after helping lead the team to a 33-4 record and a No. 7 national ranking…other former UH players who played at Indian Hills include Tony Maroney, Trevor Ruffin and Douglas Kurtz…played freshman season at the University of Dayton in Ohio…appeared in all 36 games for the Flyers, making two starts….part of a team that went 22-14 and qualified for the National Invitation Tournament…averaged 2.5 ppg and 1.2 rpg, while averaging nearly 10 minutes per game…shot 41 percent (14-34) from 3-point land.
 
Prep: A 2010 graduate of Simeon High School in Chicago, Ill…was the 139th-rated player overall and the 39th-rated shooting guard for the class of 2010, according to rivals.com…also rated as the 15th-best player from the state of Illinois, according to chicagohoops.com…as a senior at Simeon, averaged 14.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while leading his team to the 4A state championship…led his team in scoring in all seven state tournament games, including a championship game win over Young…a unanimous selection to the all-tournament team and was named tournament MVP… played freshman and sophomore seasons at Hales Franciscan High School in Chicago before transferring to Simeon for his junior and senior seasons.
