Prior To UH: Attended Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, Iowa….team captain of a squad that was ranked No. 1 in the junior college ranks for much of the season…averaged 11.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals, while finishing second on the team in 3-pointers with 53…his 29 points against Ellsworth CC were the most scored by a Warrior in a game all season….named to the all-region second team after helping lead the team to a 33-4 record and a No. 7 national ranking…other former UH players who played at Indian Hills include Tony Maroney, Trevor Ruffin and Douglas Kurtz…played freshman season at the University of Dayton in Ohio…appeared in all 36 games for the Flyers, making two starts….part of a team that went 22-14 and qualified for the National Invitation Tournament…averaged 2.5 ppg and 1.2 rpg, while averaging nearly 10 minutes per game…shot 41 percent (14-34) from 3-point land.
 
Prep: A 2010 graduate of Simeon High School in Chicago, Ill…was the 139th-rated player overall and the 39th-rated shooting guard for the class of 2010, according to rivals.com…also rated as the 15th-best player from the state of Illinois, according to chicagohoops.com…as a senior at Simeon, averaged 14.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while leading his team to the 4A state championship…led his team in scoring in all seven state tournament games, including a championship game win over Young…a unanimous selection to the all-tournament team and was named tournament MVP… played freshman and sophomore seasons at Hales Franciscan High School in Chicago before transferring to Simeon for his junior and senior seasons.
