SandBows Green & White Scrimmage This Saturday

HONOLULU –  The University of Hawai'i beach volleyball team wraps up fall training with a Green & White Scrimmage on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Ching Complex. First serve is 4:00 p.m. and admission is free.

It will be a dual match format on Saturday with the roster split into two squads and competing in five different flights. The scrimmage will give fans the chance to mingle with this year's squad, while also getting another glimpse at UH's mixture of youth and experience. Two weeks ago the Rainbow Wahine held an intrasquad pairs tournament at Queen's Beach with senior Hannah Zalopany and freshman newcomer Pani Napoleon winning it all.

UH has been hard at work since September in preparation for a national title run in 2018. The SandBows, who finished third at the NCAAs last season, begin the regular season on Feb. 24 versus UCLA and Stanford in the Rainbow Wahine Classic.
