HONOLULU – Benjy Taylor has been named the acting head coach of the University of Hawai'i men's basketball team for the 2014-15 season.

"Benjy will provide leadership and guidance for the UH men's basketball program," commented UH Athletics Director Ben Jay, "while ensuring that our student-athletes continue to pursue athletic and academic success. The student-athletes have expressed to me their desire to have Benjy at the helm and that is how we will proceed as we prepare for the start of the 2014-15 season."
