Complete Top 25 Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2013 AVCA Preseason Coaches Poll was released Monday with the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team ranked No. 11. The 'Bows will pick up where they left after finishing the 2012  season ranked No. 11 as well.

Defending NCAA champion and UH's season-opening opponent Texas earned the top spot with 55 of the 60 first-place votes. UCLA, whom Hawai'i will play the second week of the season, was ranked No. 12 and Wichita State and Creighton came in at No. 24 and No. 25, respectively, to round out UH's 2013 opponents.

Two-time All-American and reigning Big West Player of the Year Emily Hartong will lead a team that features seven seniors and returns three members of last season's all-conference team. That list includes all-region setter Mita Uiato and the Big West's most efficient hitter in middle Jade Vorster.

UH posted an 18-0 record in the Big West last season en route to a conference title. The 'Bows lost in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to host Washington.

The Rainbow Wahine began fall camp on Saturday and will continue to conduct two-a-day practices before going to single sessions in preparation for their season opener with the Longhorns.
