HONOLULU - The University of Hawai'i Warrior football team, fresh off becoming bowl eligible for the third consecutive year, concludes its regular season by hosting Big East champion Cincinnati, Saturday, Dec. 6 in a nationally televised game on ESPN2. Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. at Aloha Stadium.
Following the game, 35 Warriors will be honored during the traditional Senior Night festivities.
Hawai'i (7-5, 5-3 WAC) locked up its seventh bowl berth in the last 10 years after a 24-10 victory over Washington State last Saturday. UH accepted a bid to the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl for the fifth time since 2002.
Quarterback Greg Alexader, who made his fourth consecutive start, threw a career-high 315 yards and two touchdowns while wide receiver
Greg Salas had seven receptions for 131 yards and a score. The UH defense held the Cougars to 196 yards of total offense including 76 through the air.
Cincinnati (10-2, 6-1 Big East) won its first Big East championship and will make its first appearance in a Bowl Championship Series game. The Bearcats concluded their Big East schedule last week with a 30-10 win over Syracuse. UC is ranked 13th entering this week, tied for the highest ranking in school history.

Radio: ESPN 1420 AM will carry the game live with Bobby Curran (play-by-play), Robert Kekaula (color), and John Veneri (sideline). Don Robbs, Chris Hart and Gary Dickman host the “Countdown To Kickoff” beginning at 4:30 p.m., and also the halftime show. Neighbor islands can listen live on KNUI on Maui, KPUA in Hilo, KMWB in Kona.
