UH has some fantastic incentives for 2009 season-ticket holders:
- • It's the 100th Anniversary season, featuring special celebrations
- • Ticket prices are the same as last year
- • Premium seat contributions are the same as last year
- • A fan-friendly payment plan that allows you to make two separate payments
- • A fantastic seven-game home schedule, including non-conference contests against Wisconsin and Navy and conference match-ups against defending champion Boise State and Fresno State.
- • A 65% discount on a special road pay-per-view package. Last year, this discount provided five road telecasts for $99, a savings of $181. This year, we anticipate five road telecasts again being offered as part of this special promotion (PPV telecast schedule to be announced in June). Special thanks to Oceanic Time Warner Cable and K5 - The Home Team
- • And, most importantly, we have an incredibly talented and entertaining Warrior football team that has its sights set on a 2009 Western Athletic Conference Championship and post season bowl invitation.
The 2009 season marks the 100
th Anniversary of the inaugural year of University of Hawai‘i football and fans can join the celebration early by placing a $50 non-refundable deposit for new season tickets.
The cost for seven exciting home contests in 2009 is the same as the seven-game package in 2008 (
see prices and home opponents below). Deposits for new season tickets can be paid online and are for seats in the upper sideline and endzone sections. Current season-ticket holders will be mailed renewal information in April.
The $50 non-refundable deposit (per order, not per ticket) can be applied to new season-ticket purchases only. Following the completion of the renewal process in June, fans will be contacted in the order that their deposit was received to secure their seat assignments and finalize payment.
Hawai‘i played its first football season in 1909 and the 2009 season will be UH’s 93
rd year of competition. The university did not play football from 1912-14, 1942-45, and in 1961.
