Bucknell will replace Saint Mary's, who is exiting due to a scheduling conflict, in the 2018 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu. Now in their 123
rd season, this will mark Bucknell's first appearance in Hawai'i.
Since mid-December, the Bison have won 18 of 20 games. Now 22-9 overall and 16-2 in the Patriot League. Bucknell has clinched the 2017-18 regular season Patriot League Championship. Not only is this their fourth straight regular-season title but is Bucknell's seventh in the last eight years.
In the past thirteen years, the Bison have played in the post season eight times, with three NIT Tournament appearances and five NCAA Tournament trips, with the most recent NCAA Tournament appearance in 2017.
