HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i will unveil a new tradition at Saturday's home opener against Lamar at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium. The team will introduce the “Warrior Walk” upon its arrival to the stadium between 3:30-3:45 p.m.
 
The team will disembark its buses near the canal between the Lower and Halawa lots. Preceded by the band and cheerleaders, the team will make the walk toward their locker room through the main walkway to the box office.
 
Fans are encouraged to show their support by greeting the Warriors along the way.
 
“It gives our players a chance to meet their family and walk through the crowd in anticipation of the game. It's kind of a fun deal for the players and for the fans to get them riled up and ready to go.”
 
Kick-off for the game is 6:05 p.m.
