HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team will host its annual Rainbow Wahine alumnae match this Friday, Sept. 14 at the Stan Sheriff Center. The alumnae will play a Green vs. White match at 5:00 p.m. followed by the alumnae vs. the Rainbow Wahine varsity at 7:00 p.m.
 
Hawai'i is coming off a loss this past Sunday to No. 2 UCLA in the title match of the Verizon Volleyball Challenge. The match was the final preseason contest for the 'Bows who open Big West Conference play on the road beginning with Cal State Northridge on Sept. 19.
 
UH moved up one spot to No. 8 in the recent AVCA national poll. The 'Bows topped San Diego State and Idaho this past weekend before falling to the Bruins.
