HONOLULU – Seventy-three University of Hawai'i student-athletes were among the hundreds of graduates at the Spring Commencement Exercises held Saturday at the Stan Sheriff Center. The list includes current and former student-athletes who represent 17 sports.
 
The football and track and field and cross country teams led all sports with 12 graduates followed by softball (5), baseball (4), cheerleading (4), sailing (4), women's volleyball (4), men's swimming and diving (3), women's swimming and diving (3), women's tennis (3), men's volleyball (3), men's basketball (2), women's basketball (2), men's tennis (2), women's golf (2), women's water polo (2), and women's sand volleyball (1).
 
Each of the graduates received an H-logo stole courtesy of the UH Letterwinners Club and participated in a pre-graduation breakfast along with their families.
 
A total of 106 student-athletes graduated during the 2011-12 academic year, which includes 33 who participated in the mid-year commencement.
