HONOLULU – After nearly one month of practice, the University of Hawai'i baseball team will take the field as one at the annual UH alumni game. The Rainbows will play the Alumni on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets are $9 in the lower and mid levels. Upper level adult tickets are $7, with upper senior citizens (ages 65 and older) $6 and students (ages 4-18) $4. UH Manoa Students receive admission with a valid UH-Manoa ID.
Fans can purchase individual tickets online, visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.), call (808) 944-2697 during the same hours, or visit the Les Murakami Stadium box office on gameday.
Among the notable names returning for the Alumni are
Kolten Wong,
Lenny Linsky, Randy Yard, Sam Spangler, Jon Hee, Brandon Haislet, Jared Alexander, Harry Kuroda, Jayson Kramer, Mark Rodrigues, and Darwin Nazarino.
The Alumni will take on the current roster of Rainbows who will be in their final preparations for the Oregon Ducks who come to town for UH's season-opening series. The two teams will play a four-game series beginning Friday, Feb. 17, at 6:35 p.m.
Last season, UH was named Co-Regular Season Champions with Fresno State after finishing 17-7 in conference. The 'Bows finished 34-25 overall and a pair of wins shy of their second straight NCAA Regional appearance.
