Tournament Notes
HONOLULU—The University of Hawai'i women's basketball team hosts its second tournament of the season with the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Showdown, Friday, Nov. 25 - Sunday, Nov. 27. Coming to the Stan Sheriff Center for UH's annual Thanksgiving tournament are California, No. 22 Virginia, No. 24 Texas.
Sophomore forward
Kamilah Jackson continues to lead Hawai'i averaging 15.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Jackson has continued where she left off last season when she finished fourth in the nation in rebounds with 333. This year, she has already crashed the boards 40 times and has been the anchor of the UH team and is ranked third in the Western Athletic Conference in both points and rebounds per game. Senior guard
Breanna Arbuckle is second on the team, averaging a career-high 10.8 points per game with 5.8 rebounds. She moved into fifth place all-time in the UH record book with her 108th blocked shot against No. 18 DePaul last weekend. Arbuckle passed Brynna Jones' 107 career mark that she set in 1987. Kanisha Bello, has made an immediate impact for the Rainbow Wahine, averaging 10.0 points per game and is tied for the team lead with four 3-point baskets made.

Television: Friday and Sunday's games will be covered live statewide on Oceanic Pay-Per-View (Digital Ch. 255) with Jim Leahey (play-by-play) and Lori Santi (color). UH vs. California game to be re-telecast on Nov. 26 at 12:00pm and UH vs. Texas game to be shown again on Nov. 28 at 7:45 am on Ch. 12 (standard) and Ch. 1012 (HD).

Ticket Prices: For Friday's game, because it's a doubleheader with the UH men's basketball team, tickets bought two hours before tip-off until halftime will be $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for students (ages 4-high school) and fans will be able to stay for the men's game in the upper level. For the other two days, general admission-adult: $7; General Admission-Senior Citizen: $5; Students (ages 4-high school): $3; UH Manoa Students receive admission to regular season home games by presenting a valid UH I.D.
Promotions: During halftime of each Hawai' game, tournament sponsor, Waikiki Beach Marriott, will be awarding a 2-night ocean view stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott during the halftime contests. Fans can enter to participate at the marketing table located at Gate A.
Coaches: Dana Takahara-Dias enters her third year at UH (22-42). California's head coach Lindsay Gottlieb is in her first season with the Golden Bears, but has a career record of 56-39 in three seasons at UC Santa Barbara. Virginia's Joanne Boyle is also in her first season with the Cavaliers after accumulating a 137-64 record at Cal. Her career head coaching record that spans 15 years is 341-157. Texas' head coach Gail Goestenkors has a 480-149 overall record and a 84-50 mark while with the Longhorns.
