To earn its ninth overall trip to the NCAA Regionals, UH will have to have a strong showing against elite teams representing 10 different conferences from across the country. The 'Bows schedule includes four tournaments at home as well as two others on the road.
Hawai'i opens the season with the Oceanic Time Warner Cable Paradise Classic (Feb. 11-13). Participating in the tournament are a pair of Southland Conference members, McNeese State and Texas A&M-CC, as well as PAC-10 power, Stanford.
The Rainbow Wahine then hit the road for two tournaments. First is the Louisville-Slugger Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nev. (Feb. 19-21). There, the 'Bows will battle Utah, Georgia Tech, San Diego, Cal State Fullerton, and host-team UNLV.
Hawai'i will play a single game at Loyola Marymount on Feb. 23 as they make their way across California to play in the Cathedral City Classic (Feb. 25-27), where they will take on a tough schedule that includes Oklahoma State, UC Davis, Oklahoma and Arizona.
The 'Bows then return home to host three consecutive tournaments. The Bank of Hawaii Invitational (Mar. 5-7) starts the long homestand with Seattle, East Carolina, and national champion, Washington coming to town. On March 10th, UH will play a mid-week double header against Troy before starting the Pepsi Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament (Mar. 12-14) which features DePaul, Troy and LMU. The Rainbow Wahine then complete their non-conference portion of the schedule with the Chevron Spring Fling Tournament (Mar. 16-20), featuring California, Lipscomb, and Tokyo W.C.P.E.
Hawai'i will open the WAC with a three-game home series against San Jose State (March 26-27). The 'Bows then head out for a tough road trip to face New Mexico State (April 3-4), Utah State (April 6-7), and Boise State (April 9-10) all in a row in a little over a week's time.
UH returns home to face Louisiana Tech (April 16-17) then travels to Reno to play Nevada (April 23-24) before their season finale against Fresno State (April 30-May 1).
For the first time ever, the WAC Tournament will be held in Las Cruces, N.M. hosted by the New Mexico State, May 6-9.
