The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine soccer team (2-6-1) returns home for two matches against Detroit-Mercy on Thursday, Sept. 24, and Saturday, Sept. 26, in the OHANA Hotels and Resorts Shootout at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
The Rainbow Wahine are coming off a long road trip, playing four matches in eight days in southern California. After falling at Pepperdine, Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Northridge, UH came back to defeat Cal State Bakersfield 2-1.
The two matches vs. Detroit-Mercy will conclude UH's non-conference schedule, before they host San Jose State and Fresno State, on Oct. 2 and 4, respectively, to start Western Athletic Conference play.
